Agensi Pekerjaan DV Resources Sdn Bhd (202001014450) ("DV Resources", "we") is a licensed private employment agency (Licence A, JTKSM 1273). This notice is issued under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you use this website, contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, apply for a job through us, or engage us to supply workers. It is available in English and Bahasa Melayu; if there is any inconsistency, the English version applies.
1. Who we are (data user)
DV Resources is the data user for the purposes of the PDPA. Registered office: No. 351, 1st Floor, Taman Bukit Emas, Jalan Tampin, 70450 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Contact for personal data matters: info@dvresources.biz or 06-675 0642.
2. Personal data we collect
Jobseekers: name, NRIC or passport number, date of birth, gender, nationality, address, phone number, email, photograph, education and work history, CV, references, bank details for salary where we are the employer, and any information you give us in interviews or messages. Where the role or the law requires it, we may also ask for sensitive personal data such as health declarations, medical screening results or criminal record declarations; we collect these only with your explicit consent.
Employers and business contacts: company name and registration number, contact person, designation, phone, email, address, manpower requirements and contract details.
Website visitors: the details you type into our forms, and from our hosting provider's server logs, the pages you visit, your IP address, browser and device type, and the time of your visit.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you (forms, WhatsApp, phone, email, interviews and documents you hand to us); from employers and clients who refer or request workers; from referees and previous employers you name; and from public or government sources where verification is required, for example licence and registration checks.
4. Why we use it (purposes)
- to assess your suitability for vacancies and match you with employers;
- to verify identity, eligibility to work and qualifications;
- to arrange interviews, placements, contracts, induction and training;
- to register and administer statutory contributions and records (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) where we are the employer;
- to supply workers to employers and manage the placement;
- to comply with the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981, the Employment Act 1955 and other applicable laws, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities;
- to respond to enquiries and provide customer service;
- to keep our business records and for internal administration, audit and staff training;
- to send you job alerts or updates, where you have agreed to receive them.
We do not sell personal data and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
5. Who we share it with
Prospective and actual employers, limited to what they need to consider or employ you; companies in the DV Group of Companies, including DV Intelek Sdn Bhd for induction and training; government agencies and regulators where the law requires it (for example JTKSM, KWSP, PERKESO, LHDN, the Immigration Department and the police); our professional advisers, auditors and insurers; and service providers who host our website, email and systems and may only process data on our instructions. Each party is required to keep your data confidential.
6. Consent
By giving us your personal data you consent to its processing as described in this notice. For sensitive personal data we will ask for your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; if you do, we may no longer be able to consider you for vacancies or continue a placement.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet record-keeping requirements under the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981 and employment and tax laws. Jobseeker data that does not lead to a placement is kept for [[retention period to be confirmed by DV Resources]] from your last contact with us, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Security
Personal data is kept in controlled systems and locked files at our office, with access limited to staff who need it for their work. This website is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Transfers outside Malaysia
Your data is stored in Malaysia. Some service providers, for example email or cloud services, may process data on servers outside Malaysia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
10. Your rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you; request correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading or out of date; withdraw your consent to processing; ask us to stop or limit processing that causes or is likely to cause damage or distress; and ask us not to use your data for direct marketing.
Write to info@dvresources.biz with your name and the details of your request. We may ask you to prove your identity and may charge the prescribed fee for access requests. We will respond within 21 days as the Act requires, or tell you if we need more time and why.
11. Cookies and third-party services
This website sets no tracking cookies of its own. It loads Google Fonts and an embedded Google Map, and links to WhatsApp, the JTKSM register and our social media pages. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and may set cookies when you use them. If we later add visitor analytics we will update this notice.
12. Children
Our services are for persons aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
13. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date shown above.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Department (JPDP), Ministry of Digital, Malaysia.
